On October 7th, the London Transport Authority disclosed that the Piccadilly Line station faced closure due to "infrastructural damage within the station." They assured that they are "assessing the situation" and are "striving to resume operations as swiftly as possible." Spectators were advised to meticulously plan their journeys, with those attending the Arsenal vs Leeds United match at the Emirates Stadium this weekend being particularly encouraged to do so. Stations within walking distance of the stadium, such as Highbury & Islington, Ealing Broadway, Finsbury Park, and Holborn Road, also offer public transportation to the venue.
