The two panels are also tasked with selecting the Yashin Award for the finest male and female goalkeepers, the John Cruyff Award for the most outstanding male and female coaches, and the annual prizes for the best male and female clubs. Within these accolades, the male panel casts votes for the male categories, while the female panel makes decisions for the female categories.
The system for the Annual Youth Talent Award varies, recognizing the finest young footballers under the age of 21. The male category is selected through voting by former Ballon d'Or recipients. In contrast, the female category involves a distinguished panel, which encompasses ex-Ballon d'Or winners, players who have graced the podium of the Women's Ballon d'Or since its inception in 2018, and a representative from the editorial team of France Football.
